Your Nature In Christ!

“By which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” (2 Peter 1:4 NKJV).

The moment a believer truly comprehends that he has the divine life and nature of God, he will start to act according to that nature and live in abundant life.

Think of it this way: The nature of a turkey compels it to walk around and scavenge the ground for food. You can have great aspirations for your turkey, but its nature will always cause it to waddle its way back to scavenging and make its home where it is most comfortable.

The eagle, however, is compelled to fly and soar through the sky. The eagle ascends to heights that the turkey will never see.

All creatures act in accordance with their nature. Before we made Jesus our Lord, we had a sinful nature and had a tendency toward sin and wrong desires.

However, when you were born again, you were given a completely new and divine nature. Whether you believe it and act on it or not, you already have the life and nature of Jesus inside you.

An eagle acting like a turkey is just as strange as a Christian acting defeated. That’s not your nature! You have the nature of an overcoming winner in life!Amen! and Amen

Confession: I have the life and nature of God. Holy Spirit, I rely on You to make this a life changing revelation to me so that I can live in the reality of this truth.
