Who Are You?

Author: Jerry Savelle

People all over the world have asked the question, “Who am I?” They are trying to find their identity. Many people have lost sight of who they are simply because of what others have told them. Many have been told they are a failure, they’re a nobody, they’re useless and many other hurtful things.

The fact of the matter is that you are who God says you are, because God cannot lie.

Your talents and abilities don’t determine who you are.

Your job or your social status doesn’t determine who you are.

Your family and friends don’t determine who you are.

Your mirror doesn’t determine who you are.

Only God determines who you really are.

However nobody, not even God, can determine whether the real you will ever be expressed in life.

We are told in Proverbs 23:7: “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he” (Proverbs 23:7). You have to renew your mind to who God says you are.

Fill your heart with God’s Word. As you understand what your Creator says about you, you will find your identity in Him.

Confession: Father, I choose right now to believe I am who You say I am. I will not walk by feelings but by faith in Your Word. As I agree with You, I will become the person you intended me to be.

You Are Justified

Author: Jerry Savelle

“Being justified freely without any cost, by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” (Romans 3:24).

One of the simplest definition’s of justified is “just as if I’d never sinned.”

You have been made “just as if you had never sinned!”

“Blessed is the man whose sin the Lord will never count against him” (Romans 4:8, NIV).

Never again will your sins be counted against you. That’s good news!

This justification has been given to you freely because of what Jesus did for you on the Cross.

Redemption simply means “buying back.” Just like a kidnapped man is bought back from his captor with ransom money, so Jesus bought you back from the hands of the devil with His shed blood.

God is the Justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus (see Romans 3:26).

This justification and redemption does not depend on your performance, it depends on your faith in Jesus and the fact that you are “in Him.”

Confession: Thank You, Father, for treating me “just as if I had never sinned.” I cast down all thoughts of condemnation and meditate on the free gift of righteousness that is mine because I am in Christ Jesus.

You Are The Apple of God's Eye

Author: Jerry Savelle

When you accept how special you are to God, all negative thoughts about yourself will disappear. Have you ever felt insecure? Insecure about your abilities, your appearance, your job, your personality, your life?

Have you ever felt unloved, unaccepted and worthless?

“I’m not attractive.”

“I can’t do all the things that person can do.”

“I’m not good enough!”

If you battle with thoughts of worthlessness, inferiority, and low self-esteem, then today is the day to let go of all those negative thoughts and insecurity!

How do you get rid of insecurity that’s been there your whole life? By realizing that you are a valuable masterpiece to God. If God had to choose the finest thing He ever created, He’d pick you!

Yes, you!

In fact in Psalm 17:8 we find that God sees you as the apple of His eye.

As you come to accept the truth of how special you are to God, all negative thoughts about yourself will disappear. You will rest secure, knowing that you really are loved and accepted by God exactly as you are.

Confession: Thank you Father that I am the apple of Your eye.

Expect Favor and Success

Author: Jerry Savelle

When you believe you are who the Word says you are, you will expect every adversity to turn into a victory. Only when you see yourself the way God sees you, will you begin to expect success.

As long as you are looking at your own merits, you will have an element of self-doubt. You will question whether God is going to show you favor in life.

What you have done and who you are has nothing to do with favor and success. That is good news, because without Jesus we are nothing!

God’s favor and God’s honor can’t be earned. You didn’t earn His favor, you didn’t earn His honor, Jesus earned it for you!

Even though Jesus earned it for you, it is still your responsibility to walk in it by faith to see God’s favor become a reality in your life.

God sees you as righteous, above reproach and worthy to be blessed with success. He delights to crown you with glory and honor. Why wouldn’t He give you abundant favor and success in life?

Believe who the Word says you are. See yourself as He sees you. Then you’ll expect every adversity to turn into a victory. You’ll expect success today.

Confession: I have favor and success, not because of my works, but because I believe that Jesus made me righteous and earned it for me.

Righteous Means Righteous!

Author: Jerry Savelle

When you start to see yourself as completely righteous, your righteous nature will automatically start to manifest.

“Knowing this, that our old man was crucified with Him, that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves of sin” (Romans 6:6).

“Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation: old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new” (2 Corinthians 5:17).

“For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Jesus didn’t come to help you overcome your sinful nature, He came to completely remove it. Jesus took away all your unrighteousness and gave you His righteousness. Jesus did away with your old sinful nature completely and gave you His nature.

You are not partly righteous and partly unrighteous. You do not have to struggle with a split personality! When Jesus made you righteous, He didn’t do a partial job, He made all things new. He made you a completely new creation.

When you start to see yourself as completely righteous, your righteous nature will automatically start to manifest. You will start to think like and act like a righteous person.

Confession: Thank You, Father, for completely removing my old sinful nature and for giving me Your own righteous nature. I walk by faith that I am now righteous and believe that my righteous nature is going to manifest from the inside out today.

Just Passing Through

Author: Jerry Savelle

“Happy, fortunate, to be envied is the man whose strength is in You, in whose heart are the highways to Zion. Passing through the valley of Baca” (Psalm 84:5-6).

Baca? What is Baca? The Hebrew meaning is something we can all identify with. It means weeping, tears, or misery.

Notice that it didn’t say you’re supposed to live there. You’re not supposed to build your residence there. You should pass through it, and come out on the other side.

I don’t know what you’re going through today, I don’t know what kind of hard place you may be experiencing, but whatever it is, you don’t have to stay there. You can pass through!

In verse 7, we see what believers who keep their eyes on Jesus and stand on the Word do while they’re going through Baca: They go from strength to strength [increasing in victorious power].

Every time I go through the Valley of Baca, I know I’m only passing through. I know that when I get on the other side, I’m going to increase in victorious power. Satan is just adding to my testimony, glory to God.

Confession: I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. I fix my eyes on Jesus and stand on His Word knowing that I go from strength to strength increasing in victorious power.

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Dear VoiceGodsWord Blogs Reader, I  trust you have been blessed by this blog: letmetalk2god.blogspot.com.  I invite you to make Jesus Christ the Lord of your life by praying thus:

O Lord God, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ.  Your Word says, “..whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved” (Acts 2:21).

I ask Jesus to come into my heart to be the Lord of my life.  I receive eternal life into my spirit and according to Romans 10:9, ‘That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved,” I declare that I am saved; I am born-again; I am a child of God!  I now have Christ dwelling in me, and greater is He that is in me that he that is in the world (1 John 4:4)!  I now walk in the consciousness of my new life in Christ Jesus.  Hallelujah!”

Congratulations! You are now a child of God.  To receive more information on how you can grow as a Christian, please get in touch with us through my email id as below:

GOD BLESS!

Joint-heir With Jesus

Author: Jerry Savelle

God has an inheritance for you, but you don’t have to wait until heaven to enjoy the benefits.

“The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ” (Romans 8:16-17).

That simply means that God is your Father. You’re an heir of God. You’re a joint-heir with Jesus Christ. That means whatever Jesus gets, you get.

Some people think that they only get an inheritance from God when they die. No. You got your inheritance from God when Jesus died!

Jesus is the only person Who has ever lived, died, and was raised from the dead to see to it that His Will was carried out and His joint-heirs get their inheritance.

You’re a joint-heir with Jesus. That means you are entitled to healing. It’s your inheritance. You’re entitled to prosperity. It’s your inheritance. You’re entitled to victory and success. It’s your inheritance.

Don’t wait until you get to heaven. You can have it now in the name of Jesus!

Confession: Thank You, Father, for making me a joint-heir with Jesus Christ. I believe that I receive my inheritance today! I receive my healing, my prosperity, my victory, and my success today.

Revelation of Righteousness

Author: Jerry Savelle

It is impossible to live a victorious Christian life if you are mindful of your sin. “Those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17

If you’re going to live a life of victory, then it is essential that you have a revelation of the fact that you are the righteousness of God.

Righteousness means the ability to stand in the presence of Father God without a sense of fear, guilt or inferiority, and with no consciousness of sin.

If you have made Jesus Christ your Lord, you have already been made the righteousness of God in Him. In fact, you are as righteous as Jesus is, because He gave you His own righteousness.

You may not know it, you may not take advantage of it, but it is true!

Until you have a revelation of your own righteousness, Satan will reign over you, sin and sickness will be your master. But the instant you know that you are the righteousness of God in Christ and know what that righteousness means, Satan is defeated in your life.

You will no longer be afraid of circumstances and you can face the most adverse conditions with a sense of authority and dominion. Just as Jesus reigned over sickness, death and even the laws of nature, so you can now reign in life in Him.

Confession: I have received God’s free gift of righteousness. I am getting a new and fresh revelation on what that right standing really means.

God Is On Your Side

Author: Jerry Savelle

There are a lot of Christians who are not convinced that God is for them. They think that God is somehow partly to blame for the bad things that happen to them.

How would you like to be commander-in-chief of an army where half your troops don’t even know who the enemy is? They’ve got their weapons pointed toward headquarters, blaming you all the time for their problems!

There are some people asking God, “Why did You let this happen to me?” They don’t realize that God is for them and not against them!

The Bible says in John 10:10, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, thoughts of peace and not of evil” (Jeremiah 29:11).

It is the devil who comes to steal from you and to destroy you. God is a good God and everything He does is for your good and for your benefit.

God did not and will not cause harmful situations in your life to prove something to you. He cares about you. You are so loved by God that He is willing to give you freely all things to enjoy.

He is on your side!

Confession: Father, I believe that You are for me and not against me. I thank You that you are a good God who loves to freely give me all things.

Expect Preferential Treatment

Author: Jerry Savelle

There are so many people who don’t expect good things to happen to them. In fact, some people get mad at me because I’m too positive and expect favor all the time.

When you have something revealed to you from the Word of God, it causes you to become positive. When you understand just how much favor and honor you’ve already been given by God through Jesus, you’ll have a positive attitude.

John 12:26 (NIV) says, “My Father will honor the one who serves me.”

If you’ve chosen to serve Jesus, then Jesus Himself said My Father will honor you. Hallelujah! When you’re honored by someone, you receive preferential treatment.

Ask that the eyes of your understanding be enlightened, that you see the favor and honor that God has already given you in Jesus.

Ask Him to reveal to you things from the Word of God that will cause you to become more expectant of honor and preferential treatment.

Expect good things to happen to you today.

Confession: I am growing in revelation knowledge regarding the favor and honor that is already mine because I serve Jesus.

You Are More Than Conquerors!

Author: Jerry Savelle

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him that loved us” (Romans 8:37).
A “conqueror” is one who enters the ring, fights, wins and gains his title and trophy.

A “more than a conqueror” is one who arrives at the end of the fight and is handed the title and trophy, without doing a thing!

Jesus loves you and did this for you. He has already made you more than a conqueror. You just need to believe it and receive it personally.

No longer see yourself as a loser. No longer say, “This won’t work for me.”

No longer say, “I can’t win because of where I come from.”

Quit saying, “I can’t win because of what’s happened to me in the past!”

These things make no difference if you’re in Christ. If Jesus is Lord, then the Bible declares that YOU ARE MORE THAN A CONQUEROR!

When you have this revelation in your heart, you will think, walk, and talk like the winner you are. There will be no more defeat in your life. There will be no more bondage. There will be no more failure because you are more than a conqueror.

Confession: Thank You, Father, that I am more than a conqueror because Jesus loves me. I choose to honor Your Word and think like a conqueror and see every situation through the eyes of a conqueror today.

You Are God's Special Treasure

Author: Jerry Savelle

The Blood of Jesus dealt with every sin and failure that you ever did, or ever will do.

You are somebody special to God!

Religion doesn’t teach that you are special. Religion wants you to stay sin conscious and acutely aware of your shortcomings before a Holy God.

While it’s true that all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, but that is exactly why Jesus had to come!

The blood of Jesus washed away every bit of sin and falling short that you ever did, and ever will do. In the mind of God you are now holy, blameless and above reproach in His sight. You are God’s special treasure, whether you feel like it or not! Amen

“For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a special treasure above all the peoples of the earth” (Deuteronomy 7:6).

Religion makes you focus on your inadequacy and failure, when you should be focusing on the blood of Jesus and all that He did for you.

You are not just a worthless sinner. If you are, then the blood of Jesus didn’t work, and I wouldn’t dare say the blood of Jesus didn’t work. It did work!

Confession: Because of the blood of Jesus, I am holy in Your sight Father God. I am Your special treasure.

God Hears Your Prayers

Author: Jerry Savelle

“The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry” (Psalm 34:15).

“The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much” (James 5:16). The Amplified adds this “It makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working].”

That’s what happens to a righteous person when they pray, and you are that righteous man or woman! God’s eyes are on you and His ears are open to your prayers.

As a righteous person, you can stand in God’s presence as though sin has never occurred. You can stand in the presence of God without a sense of fear, guilt or inferiority. You can stand in the presence of God because you are righteous. Jesus made you righteous, and there isn’t anything that satan can do about it!

When you pray, heaven stands to attention. When you pray, all the angels are on alert. When you pray, God says, “That’s one of Mine. They are the righteousness of God. Let’s answer their prayer!”

Confession: Father, I believe all of heaven stands to attention when I pray. I boldly come before You in faith knowing that You will answer my prayer.

Exceedingly, Above and Beyond!

by Joyce Meyer - posted October 12, 2013

God…is able to [carry out His purpose and] do superabundantly, far over and above all that we [dare] ask or think [infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams].
—Ephesians 3:20

When I pray about or simply meditate on all the people who are hurting, I have a strong desire to help them all. I sometimes feel that my desire is bigger than my ability, and it is—but it is not bigger than God's ability! When the thing we are facing in our lives or ministries looms so big in our eyes that our mind goes "tilt," we need to think in the spirit.

In the natural, many things are impossible. But in the supernatural, spiritual realm, with God nothing is impossible. God wants us to believe for great things, make big plans, and expect Him to do things so great it leaves us with our mouths hanging open in awe.

James 4:2 tells us we have not because we ask not! We can be bold in our asking. Sometimes in my meetings people will approach the altar for prayer and sheepishly ask if they can request two things. I tell them they can ask God for all they want to, as long as they trust Him to do it His way, in His timing. It is untold what people can do—people who don't appear to be able to do anything.

God does not usually call people who are capable. If He did, He would not get the glory. He frequently chooses those who, in the natural, feel as if they are in completely over their heads but who are ready to stand up on the inside and take bold steps of faith as they get direction from God. We usually want to wait until we "feel ready" before we step out, but if we feel ready then we tend to lean on ourselves instead of on God.

Know your weaknesses and know Godknow His strength and faithfulness. Above all else, don't be a quitter.

Fight For What Is Yours

Author: Jerry Savelle

Go to the Bible, study it, read it, pray over it and ask God to reveal to you who you are in Christ Jesus. Once it becomes a revelation, no one can take it away from you. When you know who you are, your days of weakness and defeat are over!

“And the devil said unto Him, If thou be the Son of God…And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written.” Luke 4:3-4

The devil will try and take away the revelation of who you are, but you can boldly say “It is written!”

Satan cannot steal from you any longer. Tell him, “You’ve defeated me for the last time! I’m entitled to be blessed. I am entitled to health. I’m entitled to prosperity! You’re not stealing it from me any longer.”

You are a world overcomer. You’re not a loser anymore! You’re a winner in Christ Jesus! All you have to do is shake your Bible at the devil and tell him, “It is written, I am more than a conqueror in Jesus Name!”

You’re going to find out, when you know who you are, that Satan will flee from you! Satan is a worthy opponent, but he is a defeated foe. Jesus has already beaten him. He has already stripped him of his authority and stripped him of his power! He cannot defeat you any longer. You are more than a conqueror!

Confession: I know who I am. I am a new creation! I am the righteousness of God! I am a joint-heir with Jesus! I’m an heir of God! I’m more than a conqueror! I’m a world overcomer and from this day forward, I am a winner

Enemy's Tactics

Author: Jerry Savelle

One of the major tactics of the enemy is to keep you from finding out who you really are. As long as you think you are something you are not, he can keep you in bondage.

As soon as you get a revelation of who you really are in Christ, your days of weakness and defeat will end, and the devil knows it.

When you were born again, God made you a champion. You were completely recreated and you instantly became a new creation with the ability to win in every situation and circumstance.

It doesn’t matter what you’ve done or how pitiful you were, He is a master at making champions out of nobodies.  Amen!

When God began to speak to Moses, He said, “I want to use you as a deliverer.” Moses replied in Exodus 3:11, “Who am I?”

Moses didn’t initially see himself as God saw him. Moses didn’t see himself as a potential deliverer. In fact, Moses angered the Lord because he asked God to send someone else.

His refusal to see himself as God saw him created a big problem. God had to include Aaron in the leadership team which caused trouble later on.

However, when Moses eventually began to see himself as he really was, he took his place and excelled as a great leader of God’s people.

You are well-able to do everything God has for you, because He has made you an overcomer and a champion.

Confession: Father, I believe that I am who You say I am. I cast down every imagination and every feeling that is contrary to who You say I am. I am a champion in You!

Decide To Win- 08/10/2013

Author: Jerry Savelle

You can have life and blessing or you can have death and cursing. The decision is yours.

God puts it this way: “I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live” (Deuteronomy 30:19).

God said, “Here is life and blessing, and here is death and cursing. What is your choice?” It is up to you.

Whose decision is it to have life? Yours!

Whose decision is it for you to prosper? Yours!

Whose decision is it for you to be in health? Yours!

When Jesus said to a man, “Wilt thou be made whole?” He was telling the man that the prerequisite to being made whole is to make a decision to be made whole.

Whatever challenge you are facing right now, choose to win.

Confession: I make the decision to have life today. I make the decision to have blessing today. I make the decision to be made completely whole today. I choose to win.

Every Good Thing

Author: Jerry Savelle

Good things come to those who are mindful of Jesus and all that He accomplished for them on the Cross.

“No good thing will He withhold from them that walk uprightly” (Psalm 84:11).

Many people automatically think, “But I’m not upright, I did that same old sin again! I can’t stand on this verse because I know I’m not upright.”

Others think, “I faithfully attend church, tithe, pray an hour a day, confess the Word and never watch R-rated movies. Compared to others, I am walking uprightly before God.”

Both of these attitudes are completely wrong. Both focus on you and not Jesus.

The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:38 that the just shall live by faith. Live by faith in what? Faith in Jesus and all that He did for you on the Cross. Faith in what God says in His Word.

If you have confessed with your mouth the Lord Jesus Christ and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you now stand upright, holy and blameless before God.

Therefore, every child of God can stand on the Word and believe that He will not withhold any good thing from them.

Confession: Thank You, Father, for not withholding any good thing from me as I walk uprightly in your sight.

God Will Turn Your Life Around! 06/10/2013

Author: Jerry Savelle

If you will let Him, God will take you from being the tail and make you the head.

Many people in the world today feel rejected. Some have been told things all of their lives that have kept them down and held them back. You may have been told that you will never amount to anything. You may have been born in poverty and told that you will always be poor. You may have been ridiculed and told that no one will ever love you.

If you go to the Bible, you will find out that’s not what God says about you. In fact, if you put God at the center of your life, He will turn things around for you.

“And the LORD will make you the head and not the tail; you shall be above only, and not be beneath” (Deuteronomy 28:13).

If you will let Him, God will take you from being beneath and cause you to be above. He will move you from being the tail and make you the head.

How will He do this? Through His Word.

As you read the Bible, God will reveal things to you. If you believe what He shows you and act on what He reveals to you, your life will turn around.

Confession: I have been made the head and not the tail. I live above every problem and not beneath. My life is turning around in Jesus’ name!

Always! 05/10/13

Author: Jerry Savelle

Did you know victory belongs to you? In fact, God already has a victory planned out for you!

“Now thanks be unto God, which ALWAYS causes us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savor of his knowledge by us in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14).

The key word here is “always.” That gets rid of the philosophy, “Win a few, lose a few.” However, it does not say that we’ll never be attacked, nor does it say that we’ll never have adversity.

Someone might say, “I haven’t always triumphed.” Well, that’s not God’s fault, because Paul says, God ALWAYS causes us to triumph and God is always right! In the mind of God, victory belongs to you. No matter what kind of persecution, adversity, or attack you may be under, in the mind of God, the end result is triumph!

You can give up before victory comes. You can get weary in well-doing before victory comes. You can get discouraged and quit before victory comes, but I am totally convinced that God already has a victory planned out for you.

What I do during the attack will determine whether or not I triumph. I made up my mind years ago that I will not accept failure. I didn’t say I’ve never had opportunity to fail, or that I’ve never had a setback. I have had many opportunities to fail, but it’s not over until God has an opportunity to turn it into a triumph.

I don’t know what you’re going through today, but I do know this: you have the potential to experience a triumph, if you won’t give up!

Confession: I believe that God will turn every adversity into a victory. I believe that God has a victory plan for every negative circumstance that I face. I always expect to triumph because God has promised me that I can always triumph in Christ.

Forgive - 04/10/2013

Author: Jerry Savelle

I’m sure everyone been wronged at one time or another. Because of this, we all have a decision to make. We can either let that wrong affect us the rest of our lives and cause us to sit down and wallow in pity. Or we can get up, wipe ourselves off, forgive and keep going.

“Be gentle and ready to forgive; never hold grudges. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others” (Colossians 3:13, TLB).

That’s the choice we have to make, and it is never too late to make the right choice!

You cannot expect any change or real growth in your life until you forgive and let go. Give it all to God. Do not pick up that load of anger, resentment, hurt, shame, guilt or whatever it may be that you have been struggling with.

It’s not easy to forgive when you have been treated badly or abused in some way, but it is necessary. We have no choice if we want our Heavenly Father to forgive us of our wrongdoings.

You do not have to suffer the rest of your life for past mistakes or for other’s past mistakes. Your past does not have to be your future. God is a restorer and He will restore all that you have lost if you will seek Him and believe His Word.

Confession: I choose to forgive. I choose to let go of that person or that situation completely. I forgive by faith and by an act of my will and refuse to be influenced by my feelings. I am free.
