It is impossible to live a victorious Christian life if you are mindful
of your sin. “Those who receive the abundance of grace and of the gift of
righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.” Romans 5:17
If you’re going to live a life of victory, then it is essential that you
have a revelation of the fact that you are the righteousness of God.
Righteousness means the ability to stand in the presence of Father God
without a sense of fear, guilt or inferiority, and with no consciousness of
sin.
If you have made Jesus Christ your Lord, you have already been made the
righteousness of God in Him. In fact, you are as righteous as Jesus is, because
He gave you His own righteousness.
You may not know it, you may not take advantage of it, but it is true!
Until you have a revelation of your own righteousness, Satan will reign
over you, sin and sickness will be your master. But the instant you know that
you are the righteousness of God in Christ and know what that righteousness
means, Satan is defeated in your life.
You will no longer be afraid of circumstances and you can face the most
adverse conditions with a sense of authority and dominion. Just as Jesus
reigned over sickness, death and even the laws of nature, so you can now reign
in life in Him.
Confession: I have received God’s free gift of righteousness. I
am getting a new and fresh revelation on what that right standing really means.
