No More Condemnation!

Condemnation and guilt are some of the devil’s primary weapons to push a wedge between you and God, to try and separate you from His love.

If you are feeling bad about yourself and if God seems distant, it is not God Who is drawing back, it is because you are allowing condemnation into your heart.

The devil will lie and try to condemn you telling you how lousy you are, what a failure and nobody you are. A person who listens to that all the time does not have a revelation of grace.

Those who live under guilt and condemnation have ceased trusting in the blood of Jesus as the only means to come to God and receive His love and acceptance. Their relationship with God is based partly on works and not grace.

“There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to [relying on] the flesh, but according to the Spirit [walking by faith in the blood of Jesus]” Romans 8:1, AMP).

Condemnation focuses on your failures and always robs you of your confidence before God. Such thinking will always make God seem distant and cold.

Meditate instead on the grace of God and how loved and valuable you are to Him. Then absolutely nothing will be able to separate you from the love of Christ.

Confession: Father God, thank You that nothing can separate me from the love of Christ. I let go of all feelings of condemnation and draw near to You to receive Your love even when I feel unlovable.
